THE MARINA PLATFORM
The marina platform
When seas allow, the stern of the ship lowers to water level for kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming directly from the ship. The platform is a feature of Seabourn’s ocean fleet and creates the yacht-club atmosphere the line is known for. Other lines offer similar platforms — few execute it with the same consistency.

Our advice: If your budget allows one upgrade, move from Veranda to Penthouse. The space is real and immediately noticeable. The jump to Owner’s Suite adds butler service, which on Seabourn is exceptional and changes the experience in ways that are hard to describe until you have had it. If you are considering the Owner’s Suite or above, speak to your Memorii advisor first — specific ships and deck positions make a significant difference.
